Colonial Dating To 1680 Is On Market In Old Brookville

This Old Brookville Colonial, listed for $1.36 million, is one of the oldest homes on Long Island’s Gold Coast, says listing agent Donnamarie Chaimanis of Laffey Real Estate.

The six-bedroom main house dates back to 1680 and was originally built on a 150-acre plot that stretched to Hempstead Harbor, Chaimanis says. The home, now on a 2.02-acre property, includes a detached three-bedroom guest cottage.

“The house has that old Great Gatsby kind of feeling to it,” Chaimanis says.
